Get your wellies on and step into the Farmer for a Day experience! This hands-on activity gives young visitors to Greenmeadow Community Farm an exclusive behind-the-scenes opportunity to feel like a real farmer, learning new skills, meeting our animals up close and taking part in the daily tasks on the farm.

Farmer for a day is a 2.5 hour experience, from £25 per person.

Over 2.5 hours, our young farmers will join our team in a range of fun, interactive and real tasks. Depending on the season, activities include:

  • Feeding and caring for our animals
  • Collecting eggs and learning about poultry
  • Grooming and meeting animals up close
  • Helping with daily farm jobs, such as mucking out or preparing feeds
  • Learning how we look after the land, the animals, and the farm environment
  • Exclusive access to behind‑the‑scenes areas
