Visitor Acknowledgement Statement
By booking a visit to Greenmeadow Community Farm, you acknowledge and accept that visiting a working farm involves certain inherent risks, including potential exposure to zoonotic infections (diseases that can pass from animals to humans).
To help keep everyone safe, all visitors must:
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and running water after touching or feeding animals, and before eating or drinking.
- Use the handwashing stations provided throughout the farm, clearly signposted and equipped with warm running water and liquid soap.
- Understand that cleansing wipes and hand sanitiser are not substitutes for proper handwashing.
- Follow all signage and staff instructions regarding animal contact and hygiene.
- Avoid eating or drinking in animal contact areas.
- Supervise children closely, especially during animal interactions and handwashing.
General Admission
All visitors must follow signage and staff instructions at all times for their own safety and the wellbeing of others.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Greenmeadow Community Farm reserves the right to refuse admission or remove visitors whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
Greenmeadow Community Farm is a working farm with varied terrain. We recommend wearing suitable footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather.
Dog Admission
Dogs are welcome on-site but must remain on a lead at all times and have up-to-date vaccinations.
Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste in the designated dog waste bins or take it off-site.
We reserve the right to ask any owner and their dog to leave if the animal is behaving in a disruptive or dangerous manner.
Tickets & E-Tickets
Tickets are valid for single-entry use only and are non-refundable.
Tickets must be used on the date selected at the time of booking.
E-tickets will be sent to the email address provided during purchase. If not received within 24 hours, please contact us.
Children under 2 years are admitted free of charge.
Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold or combined with other offers unless otherwise stated.
In the event of severe weather or operational disruption, Greenmeadow Community Farm reserves the right to reschedule your visit. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations
To cancel a ticket, you must notify us at least 7 days before your visit.
Cancellations must be made by email or phone using the contact details on our website.
Cancellations made with fewer than 7 days’ notice are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
Special events may have separate cancellation terms, which will be stated at the time of booking.
Memberships & Annual Passes
Memberships purchased will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Members must present their valid membership card on arrival.
Memberships do not include access to ticketed special events unless stated.
Lost cards can be replaced for a £2.50 fee.
An introductory offer will be available when memberships are first launched. Greenmeadow Community Farm reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Vouchers must be redeemed before the expiry date; unused vouchers cannot be refunded.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or used with other discounts or promotions.
Vouchers can be redeemed on-site or online unless otherwise stated.
Group & School Visits
A group booking requires a minimum of 20 paying visitors.
School visits must be pre-booked and are eligible for special weekday term-time rates.
Payment must be made in one transaction on arrival, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We recommend one supervising adult per 5 children for school and group visits.
Cancellations or changes must be made at least 7 days in advance.
Animal Welfare & Experiences
Animal experiences must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
Minimum age limits apply to certain experiences; details are provided at the time of booking.
All participants must follow staff guidance and hygiene procedures.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during experiences.
We may reschedule or cancel experiences due to animal welfare needs or operational changes.
Photography & Filming
By purchasing an admission ticket or entering Greenmeadow Community Farm, you consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed while on-site.
These images and recordings may be used for marketing, promotional purposes, and on our social media channels without payment or further consent.
If you do not wish to be included in any images or filming, please inform a member of staff upon arrival so reasonable steps can be taken to avoid capturing your image.
We encourage visitors to take their own photographs for personal use, but commercial photography or filming requires prior written permission from the management team.
Returns & Refunds
Unused retail items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.
Tickets and experiences are non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Data Protection
Greenmeadow Community Farm complies with the Data Protection Act and works in accordance with the Torfaen County Borough Council privacy policy.
Personal data is stored securely and used only for operational, administrative, and marketing purposes where consent is provided.
CCTV is in operation across the site for the safety and security of our visitors, staff, and animals.
Accessibility
We aim to make the farm as accessible as possible for all visitors. Some areas have uneven surfaces or are not fully accessible due to the nature of the site.

Lost Property
Lost property is held at reception for up to 14 days. To enquire about a lost item, please contact us by phone or email with a description of the item and your visit date.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions, prices, and promotional offers at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be available on our website.
